Purpose

These general terms of service (hereinafter "ToS") govern access to and use of the TTRPG platform (hereinafter "the Platform"), published by Sandrenyl. By accessing the Platform or creating an account, you accept these ToS in their entirety.

Service Description

TTRPG is an online platform for creating and running tabletop role-playing game campaigns. It provides:

  • An interactive virtual tabletop (gameboard)
  • A customizable character sheet system
  • Built-in chat with dice roller
  • A knowledge base for organizing game lore
  • Dedicated writing spaces for roleplay
  • A turn-based combat system

User Account

Registration is done through the Lockhart authentication service (magic link, no password). Each user is responsible for the confidentiality of their account.

The Platform is intended for persons aged 16 or older. Minors under 16 must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion results in the permanent removal of all your personal data and content within 30 days.

Plans and Payments

The Platform offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are acquired through a one-time payment (no subscription) and apply to a campaign with no time limit.

Payments are processed via PayPal. Prices are displayed including tax (20% VAT included). No banking data is stored on our servers.

As digital plans are immediately accessible after purchase, no refund is possible after activation, except in case of a proven technical failure of the service.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on the Platform (sheets, texts, uploaded images). By using the Platform, you grant Sandrenyl a limited license to host and display this content as part of the service.

It is prohibited to publish or share through the Platform:

  • Any illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or hate-inciting content
  • Any content infringing on third-party intellectual property rights
  • Any pornographic content involving minors
  • Any malicious content (viruses, scripts, hacking attempts)

Sandrenyl reserves the right to remove any content violating these rules and to suspend or terminate the offending account.

Service Availability

Sandrenyl strives to ensure the Platform is available 24/7, but does not guarantee permanent availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or in cases of force majeure. Sandrenyl shall not be held liable for service interruptions.

Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". Sandrenyl shall not be held liable for:

  • Data loss resulting from force majeure or user negligence
  • Interactions between users within campaigns
  • Third-party services (PayPal, hosting)

In any event, Sandrenyl's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the user during the preceding 12 months.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, its source code, design, features, and editorial content are the exclusive property of Sandrenyl. Any unauthorized reproduction or reuse is prohibited.

Governing Law

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Sandrenyl's headquarters, unless otherwise required by law.

Changes

Sandrenyl reserves the right to modify these ToS. Users will be notified of significant changes through the Platform. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.
